Campus Quiz Results - Manipal – NITK, Surathkal top Manipal
An air dash from across the Bay of Bengal, after hosting the 10th edition of Tata Crucible at Singapore, quizmaster Pickbrain showed no signs of fatigue as he belted out questions at Manipal.
The city marked the launch of a 38 city quizzing extravaganza, that colleges look forward to with high levels of enthusiasm. The prelim was reasonably tough by Pickbrain’s own assessment but the teams from across the western coast of India just loved it. The following six teams made it to the final.

The final saw the launch of a gamification theme for the quiz that kept everyone guessing. The strategies the teams would play are going to be so crucial to the outcome of the ‘games’ across India. At Manipal, it turned out to be an evening that belonged to the boys from NITK Surathkal.
They seemed clearly head and shoulders above the rest as they played consistently and made it to the next level. MIT played a mature game to finish as the runner up. The audience went away winning a host of goodies as well.
The guest of honour Dr. Gururaj Kidiyoor appreciated how events like Tata Crucible had motivated so many students to quiz and learn beyond the confines of their academics.
